The Agile Planner Workshops provide a forum to exchange information vital to higher education leaders as they balance
priorities in continuously evolving campus environments. The workshops create small group settings in which
administrators, planners, architects, and facilities managers learn new information, exchange ideas, and develop tools
to manage and implement long-term capital improvement projects.
Workshops generally occur once a year in either the Spring or Fall. The most recent workshop was conducted in the Fall
of 2008. Visit the Past Programs page for details.
S E A Consultants Inc. launched the bi-annual workshop series in 2000 in partnership with host institutions.
Discussion topics at prior workshops have included funding facilities and infrastructure needs, designing for the
sciences, green design, utilities and infrastructure planning, materials handling and access planning, and rapidly
changing space requirements. S E A is a multi-discipline architecture, planning, and engineering consulting firm with
offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Arizona and New Hampshire. Our Higher Education Consulting Group provides services
to a number of colleges and universities.
